Biocurrently i would say that i am an over-educated but underexperienced, idealistic and yet at times accutely cynical small town (or small city is more apporpraiate) gal with big city (or bigger city) aspirations...a background in mostly ecology and environmental studies, but when you take 6+ years to get a degree, you kinda gain a whole lot of extraneous tidbits of information...so, i can say that i can hold my own at jeopardy! i am interested in pursuing research in community-based conservation, both here and abroad, and the links between social and environmental justice, in particular, freshwater resource management, but in between all the serious stuff, hopefully a little fun can be had. i am currently returning to school (again) for a master's certificate in geographical information systems (GIS), then its either time to get a "real" job or maybe an actual master's degree.
